Practice Nurses

The Practice has a team of 6 directly-employed nurses who work closely with the doctors to provide an ever-widening range of medical services in addition to traditional nurse treatments.

Community Nurses

Community Nurses perform a wide range of duties both in patients' homes and from the surgery buildings. They are attached to the Practice and work from their base at Strensall surgery. They work closely with the Practice Nurses and General Practitioners.

Health Visitors

Health visitors are nurses with extra training in child health, health promotion and health education. They offer support to families with children. They work closely with the Practice Nurses and General Practitioners.

Other Clinical Staff

Midwives, podiatrists, physiotherapists, community psychiatric nurses (CPNs) and other clinical staff work closely with doctors and nurses in the practice. They provide care in the community and often work from our premises.
